benign....

my new favorite word thanks for all the thoughts and prayers! my dad is recovering and will have surgery on his colon in a few weeks. Read this today: "...L'Chiam meant that no matter what difficulty life brings, no matter how hard or how painful or how unfair life is, life is holy and worthy of celebration". -My Grandfather's Blessings by Rachel Naomi Remen, M.D.

Oh wow, what an emotional roller coaster for your family to go through, and for your Dad especially. You guys are so wonderful to support each other that way. What a relief! Heavenly Father blesses us in so many different ways, thanks for the reminder of what's important in life. That's a beautiful quote.

I just barely read your previous blog and I am so happy that things turned out OK. My dad had skin cancer a while back, and even though they say that is the easiest to treat, it's still scary. I'm glad your dad is recovering. :)
