You know you're redneck if...

You know you're a redneck if...

1. You take your 3 small children on an airboat tour in east Texas
2. You allow your babies to stand a few feet from alligators
3. You may or may not encourage your 2 year-old to hand feed the wild alligators marshmallows
4. You think the cheek-flapping highspeeds of an airboat crusin' through the swamps of Texas and Lousinana is far more thrilling than any old roller coaster.

Thanks mom and dad Lawton for the coolest weekend east Texas has known:)

and seriously mom, you know you're redneck if you visit the airboat tours so often that they know you by name and give you 3 free T-shirts!!! haha

July 5th we celebrated our 9th anniversary

It was a beautiful day in a beautiful temple staring across the altar at my beautiful husband thinking of our beautiful forever family...all over again.

after which we dined at Carrabba's...the doogie bag kinda sums up our feelings on love:)

Arches

On our way from Preston, ID to Safford, AZ we got a little tired and decided to stay the night in Arches National Park, Utah. We snuck in some fabulous hikes, grabbed a pancake dinner and chocolate milk and stayed the night at Arches Inn. Best decision ever!

Preston

Next Stop: Preston, Idaho

After our stay in Seattle we drove 14 ish hours to Pocatello to drop off my nephew and then a couple more hours to Preston to visit the Grolls.

We took a ride in "Clifford", ran, swam, played pickleball and wallyball, ate a hot wing sandwich, and hung out with my sweet nieces and nephew.

Do You Kiss Your Mamma with That Mouth?

Nope.
Just Llamas.

I swear there's nothin' better than seen' your mama kiss a llama.

You should try it some time.
no really.

Whilst on our trip we managed to squeeze in a slight detour to the Outback...
Who knew a little piece of Australia was just around the corner from Seattle?

Just imagine a cool muddy meadow, peacocks screaming and diving off roofs unexpectedly, twiterpatted roosters and chickens, lemurs dancing to "I like to move it move it", kangaroos and their joeys frolicking in the fields for you to pet, a donkey named Jack, 1 grumpy pony, and llamas that love to make out, and that's the Outback!

Favorite comment of the day-
Olivia: "Look mom, some chickens like to ride on other chickens' backs!"
Me: "Yes honey, they're called Roosters"

Does anyone else feel that closing your eyes to kiss a llama is pretty romantic? :)

After all that kissing we got to end the tour by holding our own little bundle of joy...
