Bowl-o-rama

Last Friday night we joined daniel and his xc team for a bowling party. Besides my paranoia of second hand smoke and disgusting bowling ball germs that my children we constantly exposed to...I think the kids had a good time and they haven't died yet:)

How can I not smile...

at faces as cute as these??? After I beat my camera it randomly started to work....who knows how long it will last but i took what i could get last night at bath time. I realize to all my amazingly talented friends with cameras that need their own bedroom and photoshop skills that make me drool, my pics probably make you cringe the way i do at a messy room. Please use your imagination and maybe you'll see how freak'n adorable my kids could be in person:) And here's a random rendition of "5 little monkeys"...

"But i still love technology"

i'm super tired from staying up way too late finishing Breaking Dawn. (ooooh sooooo goood!) My kiddos are asleep and have been for over an hour. What I am doing up? I'm getting myself reaquainted with the net:) I love you sweet internet! I love how you let me pay my bills, e-mail, check out the olympics, blog... and i find comfort knowing that if I wanted to say find out the hours of the local party store of perhaps the weather in Venice, you would be more than willing to share your plethora of inforamtion with me:) Now if only you could get my camera to work I'd love you forever.

Party from "Twilight til Dawn"

Last Friday I held a Twilight party to celebrate the release of Breaking Dawn and basically just to obsess over the books:) One of the ladies even dressed up as a vampire! It was so hillarious! We ate and laughed ourselves sick! The evening consisted of an Italian dinner (for when Edward and Bella went to Italy), werewolf cupcakes, alexa brought "better-than-sex-cake, A Trivia game, and themed prizes (marblecake-edward, comb-jacob, nailpolish-alice, eclipse gum, vampire teeth, seattle postcards...) Thanks for all the great ideas (jamie and jami) and for all the help (holly). And thanks for all the e-mailed photos since my camera is on its death bed. I still have 100 pages left of the last book...I know I'm sooooo slow!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Can I just say, "I love these girls!" I had a blast playing in Park City, Utah with my best friends from high school. It all started with a roadtrip to Cannon Beach, OR our senior year...the idea was to have such trips every few years but with weddings and school and kids it took us 7 years to finally organize a girls weekend reunion:) The funny thing was i totally felt like we were 18 all over again. Basically we did everything girly that you can imagine. *pedicures...check *shopping...check *eating junk food...check *laying out by the pool...check *having a pillow fight...check *taking a million pictures...check *watching Mamma Mia...check A million thanks to my hubby for watching the kiddos all alone for 5 glorious days! p.s. I let my kiddos listen to the Mamma Mia sound track on the way home from the airport, they're totally hooked. They beg to listen to it at least 3 times a day and run around in circles screaming and dancing!
